Syrena Auto was a Polish automotive manufacturer founded in Warsaw in 1951. It was created to satisfy the need for affordable and mass-produced cars in post-World War II Poland.
The company first produced a small car, the Syrena 100, followed by a larger model, the Syrena 105. These cars were popular in Poland and were used as taxis, police cars, and family vehicles.
Despite its popularity in Poland, Syrena Auto struggled to compete with foreign manufacturers and to keep up with changing consumer demands. Production ended in 1972, but many Syrena cars are still on the roads in Poland today and are considered classic cars.
